Detailed description of Lexington Country Club

Lexington Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Fort Myers, Florida.

The course first opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Gordon G. Lewis. Kipp Schulties renovated the course in 2017.

The course has wide and slightly undulating fairways. The greens vary in undulation. Typically, the longer and more difficult holes will have large and flat greens. In contrast, the short holes will have small, and severely undulating greens.  Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes.

The signature hole is #13, a 576-yard, par 5, featuring a double dogleg fairway lined with sand bunkers and requiring an approach shot over water to the green. This hole tempts many golfers to "get on" in two, but accuracy is a must if you wish to accomplish this feat.

There are great visual looks of rock walls and landscaping to enhance the Golf Experience. Six Tee box choices, with descending yardages from the "Tips" of over 7,000 yards, allow players of all skill levels to score well and enjoy themselves.
